After one round of Whole30 my AC1 levels dropped from 7.1 to 6.4 and my cholesterol went down almost 50 points
I have never struggled with weight but I do struggle with keeping my blood sugar levels down and keeping my A1C and cholesterol low. While on Whole30, it was hard to give up bread, pasta, and cheese, I'm Italian and those are my staple foods.
Going into Whole30, my why was my daughter-in-law who is currently pregnant, and my daughter who just brought my first grandchild into the world. I knew I had to do something for my health. I want to live as long as possible for my family. Throughout the Whole 30 program, when I went to check my blood sugar every morning I was so happy to see the number on my machine. Usually, this is a part of the day I dreaded. But during Whole30 I was happy to check it and brag to my family about how my blood sugar levels were. The real test was when I went back to the doctor for my results.
I am happy to share after one round of Whole 30 my AC1 levels dropped from 7.1 to 6.4 and my cholesterol went down almost 50 points. I also lost 6 pounds! My doctor was shocked and very impressed with my results. I will continue to eat/cook Whole30 as much as possible. Thank you coach Betsy.
